User Guide: Managing Pages in WordPress

  1. To see how your page will look to visitors, click the “Preview” button in the top-right corner
  2. This will open a new tab showing you a preview of your page

Publishing Your Page

  1. When you’re happy with your page, click the “Publish” button in the top-right corner
  2. You can also schedule the page to be published later by clicking “Publish” and then selecting a future date and time

Editing an Existing Page

  1. Go to “Pages” in the left sidebar of your dashboard
  2. Find the page you want to edit and click on its title
  3. Make your changes using the same tools as when creating a new page
  4. Click “Update” in the top-right corner to save your changes

Organising Your Pages

  1. To change the order of pages in your menu, go to “Appearance” > “Menus” in your dashboard
  2. You can also create parent-child relationships between pages:
    1. Edit the page you want to make a child page
    2. In the right sidebar, find the “Page Attributes” section
    3. Use the “Parent” dropdown to select the parent page
