We create every website following the same build stages to ensure that the entire process runs as efficiently as possible.
Planning
We start the process with a kick-off meeting to discuss the details of the project with all stakeholders.
Following the kickoff meeting, we will produce a sitemap and wireframe to show the key pages and user journey through the website. You can think of a wireframe like a blueprint or an architect’s drawing for your new website.
Visual Design
After any feedback on the site map and wireframe has been reviewed and adopted, we start crafting the visual look and feel of your new website. We typically design the home page first to gauge your feedback and then roll out the design of your other key pages and templates with the same look and feel.
Build
Once the designs have been signed off, we start to build the website in WordPress and add content and functionality to the designs. There usually isn’t much to see for the first couple of weeks of the build stage while we work our magic behind the scenes, but we’ll keep you updated on progress.
Testing & Delivery
Once the site has been built and tested internally by our team, it’s time for you to review the finished product. At this point, we’ll share a preview link of the new site with you for feedback and give you training on how to update your content. After training, the site will go live (or ‘handed over’ in offline mode until you are ready) upon receiving the settlement of the final invoice.
